Pony Show Rules:
- Declare that at all ponies entered on this form have been transferred to or registered in the name of the entrant.
- Enclose a remittance for the total amount of Entry Fees payable in respect of each Class. 10 Euro per Pony entered.
- Agree to observe ad to be bound by the Regulations of the Roundstone Connemara Show Committee.
- If all registration details and numbers are not included, the entry form and fee will be returned and it will be the duty of the entrant to have it re-submitted before the closing date.
- Any pony entered in the wrong Class will be excluded from the Show.
- All particulars required in Entry Form, must be fully stated; otherwise pony is liable to be disqualified for a prize and excluded from the Show.
- The pony exhibited must be that described in the Entry Form and no other.
- All foal handlers must be 16 years or over.
- All Mare classes are with or without Foal. If Mare has a Foal, Foal must be haltered and shown with the Mare.
- When an exhibitor wins First Prize in any of the Classes in this Show, he/she is committed to entering their pony in The All Ireland Supreme Champion of Champions Connemara Pony Class.
- Exhibitors who win First Prize in this Show with their Connemara Pony, are required to take part in the Parade through Roundstone village after the Show.
- There must be four exhibitors or more in class in order for prize money to be issued.
- First Prize winning Rosettes must be displayed on all ponies during parade. (First Prize Rosettes and Sashes won from other shows during the year around Ireland may also be displayed during the parade through Roundstone)
- Failure on the part of an exhibitor to adhere to rules (9) and (10) as above, will result in the withdrawal of the prize or prizes which have been awarded to his/ her Connemara Pony. By Authority of: Roundstone Show Committee.
- The exhibitors of the Supreme Champion, Reserve Champion and All First Prize Winning Ponies, will receive their Prize Money after the parade.
- The Judges are empowered to with-hold Judging and Prizes for classes in which there is not sufficient merit or competition, entries may then be amalgamated with other classes.
- Ponies must be registered in owners name as on passport.
- All pony winners of their classes are eligible to enter the Supreme Champion of Champions.
- Only 148cm and under ponies are eligible to enter the show.
Cattle Show Rules:
- Only prepaid entries received on or before the entry closing date as stated on the entry form will be catalogued and judged on the day.
- All cattle must be halter trained and haltered.
- All cattle must be tested.
- All classes confined to Connemara (Cattle born and bred in Connemara).
- All calves must be born in the current year.
- Cattle entered must have euro identity card & must be exhibited by the herd number on the tag.
- The onus is on each farmer to have his /her animal movement permit.
- All animals must be tested.
